Slacker Manager by David Zinger and Phil Gerbyshak  is a great little blog about management and the workplace.  They conducted a survey recently about using people’s strengths in the workplace and the results are in:  Not so much.  Their official conclusion is:  “We still have a long way to go to create a strength based workplace.”

Are these results consistent with what you are seeing with your clients in general?  What tools — assessments or otherwise — do you use to pin-point strengths and then help devleop them?  Marcus Buckingham focuses on strengths and how people can contribute best to organizations.  What other ways have you found to value and leverage people’s strengths?
