. . . you’ve been to more than one MBTI qualification.

. . . you can name John Beebe’s sixth function (Senex/Witch!).

. . .you discuss the latest APTi Bulletin article the week it comes out (check out Cynthia Stengel’s piece on the art of MBTI feedback in Vol. 31, No. 1).

. . .you are MBTI Certified and darn proud of it!

. . .you know that type dynamics are the secret to TRULY understanding what type is all about!

. . .you think the Serenity Prayer written for all 16 types is a hoot.

. . .and finally for tonight, you put together alternative four-letter type tables while sitting through MBTI qualifications like this:

ISTJ

RULZ

ISFJ

LOYL

INFJ

ID.UZ

INTJ

MPRV

ISTP

DONE

ISFP

HLPR

INFP

ESTP

PLAY

ESFP

FFUN

ENFP

FRND

XPLR

ESTJ

What makes you an MBTI nerd?  What other four letter designations can you suggest for this table?

I write an MBTI blog- pretty sure that qualifies me as an MBTI nerd! I frequently pick up MBTI related books for “leisure reading.” I get excited when my Google Reader alerts me to a new MBTI related article on the web. I find myself “typing” everyone around me (the lady who diligently fills out her checkbook register while everyone else in line waits, the guy who “what if”‘d the poor sales guy at Best Buy until he gave up and found a manager, and my neighbor whose daily routine is scheduled with military precision.

Oh- and a better 4 letter code for ISTJ = BEST!!!!

Impressive nerdiness!! More four-letter words ;-) for ENTP - FUTR/MPRV. I once got kicked off of a very heady blog where scientists and physicists were having a serious (oooooh!) debate about the existence of God. I suggested that everyone take the MBTI assessment so we can get a better picture of the different perspectives, and they quietly escorted me out of the room [blog]. This was almost a year ago, before I even knew that much about type. Little did I know, I was an MBTI nerd in the making.

Linda- you have me laughing out loud!!!! I can just imagine the oh-so-serious scientists reaction to your post (which makes perfect sense, by the way)! Classic!!!

I knew I was an MBTI nerd when I started relaxing with the “Introduction to Type” series in the bathtub. :)
