Linda McKenna — Myers-Briggs(r) and blog superstar
written by Mike Shur
I love Linda McKenna.
Especially as the product manager of the MBTI(r) tools I love Linda’s passion for and openness to all things type. The best way to learn about personality type is to teach it and Linda has not only taught her first MBTI(r) workshops in the last 30 days (go Linda!) but has even posted a video to her blog where she interviews participants after her workshop to get their reactions to type and their understanding of themselves. WOW! Linda, great work! I also loved the post about personality type and culture.
To recognize your contribution I will be sending you a copy of the book U R A Brand by Catherine Kaputa so that you continue to build your unique “Linda” brand.
As a fellow ENTP I want to give you all the encouragement I can to keep up with the blog and I’ll be visiting it often and giving you comments on your posts. I know I like feedback and think you would too.
You’ll note that your blog is now on my blogroll so everyone can visit your site right from the blog page.
Once again, kudos and I hope you enjoy the book.
Anyone else want to send me your blog?

Thank you, Mike!!! I’ve never been recognized like that before. I did once win a 6-month supply of diapers once in a sweepstakes, but this makes me feel so much more special.
Thank you for all your hard work you put into this site.

On a more serious note, I have to give credit to Breanne Potter, who found me on the blogsphere and was forever encouraging. She helped me to focus and directed me to some great resources, such as this site.
As a fellow ENTP, you may be able to understand that I often have a hard time focusing long enough on a project to see it through to completion, as I usually have several things going on at once. I am also always plagued by the fear of incompetence, feeling like whatever I have is not good enough or can always be better… thus the lack of sleep. But I’m getting ‘better’ at accepting less than the best.
There’s a quote that I found a while back, and if anyone knows whose quote it is, please let me know:
“You don’t have to necessarily be the best at what you do - there’s always someone better. Instead, be the only one who does what you do.”
