Last week Bob Cuddy shared some of his strategies and methods for building a coaching and consulting business.  During his webinar he mentioned several tools that he uses to help make that happen.  Below is a list of the products Bob referenced (both CPP products and others).  If you can think of other tools that you use in your practice that your clients love please feel free to share with us and the group.  Remember:  Sharing *IS* caring.

MBTI® Conflict Management Program: Leader’s Resource Guide and  Introduction to Type(r) and Conflict by Damien Killen and Danica Murphy.  Together these tools help practitioners and trainees learn about the influence of personality type on conflict.  The program and related client booklet give techniques for resolving and leveraging conflict into better performance.

MBTI® TeamBuilding Program: Leaders Resource Guide and Introduction to Type® and Teams by Elizabeth, Katherine, and Sandra Hirsh.  Team building is one of the most popular applications of the MBTI tool and often the first training organizations ask for.  This leader’s guide along with the companion booklet make a practitioner look like a superstar right off the bat.  Lots of activities and exercises help to bring the MBTI approach to teams to life.

Leadership is a key need in many organizations and our latest MBTI offering is Introduction to Type® and Leadership by Sharon L. Richmond.  This booklet discusses a robust model of leadership within any organization and how type can help develop every type of leader.

Speaking of leadership, Bob mentioned Lominger during his talk and their book FYI that can make any coach a leader in their field.  They also have a current promotion on their site for an additional $10 off the book.

Another enablement tool for coaches is a solution from Cambria called Coaching Director 2.0.  This product helps with the business of coaching and managing a whole team of coaches.  How nice would that be!

And last but not least, is the skill of communications which many teams and individuals seek to improve.  Donna Dunning’s Introduction to Type® and Communication helps clients with their skills in this area by using type to leverage their strengths and develop areas of opportunity.

Take a look at these tools and ask me questions about them as they come up.  Also, talk about your experience with any of these tools if you’ve used them in the past.

Now. . .back to business!
