Learning Without Limits - Myers-Briggs® Thinkbox
posted by agammy
I wanted to share with you the newest (and most exciting) Myers-Briggs support tool I’ve seen in awhile - the Myers-Briggs® THINKBOX.
This is beyond e-learning, and as far as I can see, is a huge value-add for any practitioner.
The new Myers-Briggs® ThinkBox is an on-demand, Web-based learning environment for continued, informal learning. It’s a way to make sure that the lessons you teach in your workshop remain top-of-mind. Myers-Briggs® ThinkBox is rich with easy-to-use support tools like expert tips, eCoaching, video shorts, and more, all based on the Myers-Briggs® assessment.
Learners can get the most out of their Myers-Briggs training with this self-directed resource, while businesses can maximize their training investment to improve performance.

Sustaining employee development efforts can be a challenge for businesses already struggling to do more with less, and if you can offer your clients an easy way to extend their learning, you are in a good position to win more business. Another nice thing about the Thinkbox is that it gives you a reason to stay involved with your clients, as you help them get the most out of their Thinkbox.
I think the best thing about this product is that the e-coaching and e-learning suggestions are tailored for each employee and their specific job, so individual and team performance are improved in individually applicable ways. When your clients face specific challenges, or when you have a specific problem to solve with a client, you can search the data base based on personality type, business issue, or competency, and make sure you are addressing different learning preferences with engaging, to-the-point content.
It’s hard to explain all the particulars of the MBTI Thinkbox, so you may want to check it out yourself.

I love Thinkbox! Walked through the demo a couple of weeks ago when it was first announced.
It was really amazing. I wasn’t sure at the time how it applied to me as a small, really small one man consulting firm who uses the MBTI in training, consulting and coaching.
In fact, there is a bit of fear to even ask what something like this will cost. My assumption is that it has to be beyond the reach of someone like myself.
I love Skills One because of the price and the Wold Wide accessibility, but Thinkbox, I just don’t think so.
I hope someone can prove me wrong but I doubt it.

Hi Mike - CPP has actually created a pricing model for consultants that allows you to purchase from CPP at a discounted rate and subsequently sell it, so you can provide even more value to your clients with the Myers-Briggs® ThinkBox (and not have it cost you an arm and a leg!)

Hi Brenda - Are you unable to view the demo in Firefox? You might want to check and see if you have the latest version, or if there are any plug-ins you need to install. I have Firefox myself and just watched the demo!
Good Luck!
