How Organizations Solve the Puzzle of Workplace Relationships
posted by agammy
Relationships can complicate even the most simple task. This is especially true in the workplace. For most people, the actual work itself is demanding enough - by the time you add political issues, grudges, daily annoyances, incompatibilities, and misunderstandings to the mix, it’s amazing anyone gets anything done.
For the most part, this is why many organizations rely on personality assessments. Assessments help employees develop a common language, so even the most diverse groups of people can work together effectively. Assessments promote self awareness which can impact employee success across various relationships, and can even help employees with their relationships outside of work.
Unfortunately, there isn’t one “all-encompassing” assessment solution that works for every organization and for every problem. So, when it comes to selecting an assessment to present to a particular client, it’s important to make sure you are choosing one that meets their needs.
What is the best way to accomplish this? And when is it effective to suggest several assessments in combination?
Most importantly, how do you help clients integrate personality assessments with process in a way that impacts performance and results?
Because you may be wrestling with these exact questions, we decided to tackle these (and more) in the next CPP Webinar - Exploring the Successful Use of Assessments for Training and Development.

Through the stories of three top organizations - The United States Air force, Shell Australia, and a top global accounting firm, we hope to show how assessments such as the Myers-Briggs, FIRO-B, and TKI tools can develop a framework for universal communication and informed team building that impacts business in a meaningful way.
Speakers include:
Richard S. Hassan Vice President, Career Development Systems, TSM Corporation
Rich will detail how the United States Air force used the Myers-Briggs, FIRO-B, and TKI assessments to craft a holistic business solution.
Breanne Potter Regional Consultant, CPP
Breanne will speak on behalf of Shell Australia, and describe their use of the Myers-Briggs assessment for team-building, conflict resolution, and promoting cross-cultural understanding.
Sherrie Haynie Regional Consultant, CPP
Sherrie will present the case of a top global accounting firm who used the FIRO-B assessment to improve the performance of newly forming teams, and teams in transition.
We have an expert line up, so please come prepared ready to ask questions and learn. With such a full agenda, I must admit there will be limited time for discussion at the end, but we will provide a post-Webinar executive summary to all registered guests that answers questions we are unable to get to during the presentation.
