Meet MBTI® Certification Training Expert & Instructor Michael Segovia
posted by agammy
Monday I announced that CPP would be hosting their very own MBTI and CPI certification programs in 2010. If you haven’t had a chance to be certified - and I am talking to all you educationally eligible folk out there - it is a real career changing experience, and I would highly recommend it. I had the opportunity to take an MBTI certification class through AMA this fall, and I have never felt so competent (which is always a plus for an ENTP.)
The MBTI has it’s first offering is in March, which is right around the corner. The program instructor is a colleague of mine who I really admire, Michael Segovia, a CPP veteran with over 20 years of experience in the training and development arena. In his new role, Michael will deliver 18 MBTI Certification programs across the United States in 2010. CPP conducted a really interesting interview with Michael, that I wanted to take a minute to share with you all.
Check out Michael’s interview in the CPP Insider.
And to further spark your curiosity, here is a little bit more about Michael:
Before accepting his current position as MBTI Certification program trainer for CPP, Michael served as Divisional Director of CPP’s worldwide marketing and accreditation initiatives, as well as senior CPP brand manager for products including the Strong Interest Inventory®, CPITM, and FIRO-B® instruments. In his 20-plus years’ experience with the MBTI tool, Michael has served as chair of the Industrial and Organizational Division for the Association of Test Publishers and has appeared on Talk Radio, Dubai City 7 TV, Dubai Morning Live radio, Retirement TV’s What’s Next, and the Wall Street Journal podcast to discuss assessment issues in career management, training, and development. Michael has presented at the International Association of Career Management Professional! s Global Conference, the National Career Development Association Conference, the Association of Psychological Type International Conference, and the International Career Development Conference, and he has been quoted in publications including Fast Company, Training, Workforce, and the Wall Street Journal.

Hi,
I live on Walnut Creek, CA. Are there any MBTI certification training courses happening in my area in 2011? How about any online/distance learning courses that I could sign up for? Thanks in advance for your help.
