How MBTI Conquered the Office!
posted by agammy
I just caught wind of this - the MBTI will be featured on BBC Radio 4!
BBC presenter Mariella Frostrup will deliver a 28 minute radio program telling the story of The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). During the broadcast Mariella will find out what type she is - and discuss whether or not the information will change the way she works. The broadcast will also discuss how Katherine Cook Briggs and Isabel Briggs Myers developed the MBTI during WWII to help women identify the best war-time jobs for their preferences and how the Myers-Briggs assessment has dealt with different cultural attitudes as it spread in influence across the globe.
Don’t Miss the Live Event!
The broadcast airs on Tuesday March 30th at 9pm in the UK (so 1pm PDT in the United States). To listen, you will need to tune into BBC Radio 4 and choose ‘Listen Live’. I am not currently aware whether this will be available as a podcast, but I will post any updates I hear between now and then.
We will also be hosting a live Twitter Feed of the event, so if you visit our page starting at 1PM PDT that day, we will make sure you are kept up to date with the presentation.
(If you are not currently connected, visit http://twitter.com/thembti to get the live feed.)
